WHITTINGHAM CLUB
Whittingham Club is undergoing the build of a new sports and social facility, here at the former Whittingham Hospital site, Preston, PR3 2JE. (Pictured below, Cameron House surrounding the football pitch and the Club in the bottom right)
The scheme will see major redevelopment of the existing Whittingham and Goosnargh Sports and Social Club (WGSSC), once the staff club when the hospital was in use. Works will see delivery of new clubhouse, 11 a-side football pitch, Multi Use Games Area (MUGA), caravan/camping area and car parking. The bowling green will be retained within the scheme.
PLEASE NOTE:
Due to the Phase 2 building work during the next year, there are new access roads and entrances to both the Campsite and Carpark. There may also be noise/disruption during your stay.
The Club will NOT be closed during this time, so please bear with us during these developments and support the Club in any way you can from a single drink to buying an event ticket.
Watch this space for more information during this exciting time!
